Do you hear the people sing?
The first time I heard this song when I was seventeen. I learned to sing this due to School Singing contest. I knew the lyrics but never truly understood. After over 20 years, I couldn't imagine I would experience the situation and be touching by the song. It became a song for all HongKongers and there was a Cantonese version produced by some HK youngsters. Every time I listen to the songs, there are teardrops in my eyes. I tried to translate the Cantonese lyrics and hope the world can understand us.
